check the svn for all of my models there will be a folder;

QNL_GER/Art_Source/Models/Weapons/lazy sammich's weapons/finished

where you can take them to the next stage.
(what is the next stage?)


*updates*
the D5K is now complete, bothe the silenced and normal version and can be found in the svn at:
QNL_GER/Art_Source/Models/Weapons/lazy sammich's weapons/finished/D5k.3ds
and
QNL_GER/Art_Source/Models/Weapons/lazy sammich's weapons/finished/D5KS.3ds

Yea, that would take down the number of weapons to code. We have 21 to code.
PP7 (being coded in, silenced form is secondary fire)
D5k (super nail gun, needs to be coded; silcened secondary)
will have silencers coded as the secondary fire..

dont forget the fore grip and the sights.

The models not bad needs to be rounded but not bad.

Also the slinced version will have to be a whole new weapon because quake doesn't support bones or attachments.

okay... that kinda sucks looks like ima have to use a hexagon.
im just doing the smoothing groups or whatever its called... what percentage do you think is okay? im toying around 50% atm

EDIT: scrap that... the smoothing isnt exporting for some reason, ill just have to manually round them at the cost of a few polys

doesent it need to be animated and UV'd (whatver that means) before its mdl?

but i can convert it if you want... i just need to find a converter

Ya know I think we should each use an aliases from james bond. Like one person is Q, M, Robinson, Trevalian, James Bond, etc. And use that aliase here only. Does anyone else think this is a cool idea?

No. Quake .MDL doent suport bones. You can use the bones to animate but the .MDL exporter just takes the frames and saves it as a new model. Thats not how a boned format works. So unfortanly no bones.

Ok, sammich. I looked at the models. The only thing I could would say to ad on the d5k, is the front sight. Other than that, the D5k/(S) is good. The rcp90 is looking pretty good.
